Basic Requirements of Piling Techniques for Pile Drivers

Different environments dictate different piling techniques, and the requirements of these techniques, in turn, determine the choice of pile drivers. The main piling method of pile drivers is rotary drilling: using a drill bit to rotate and break the rock to form a wellbore; delivering the drill bit to the bottom of the well with drill rods, ejecting the drill handle with a hook, crane, gantry crane, or winch, and driving the drill bit and rods to rotate with a turntable, swivel, or bottom-hole drilling tools; using mud to bring the rock cuttings from the bottom of the well. The basic requirements for the piling process of pile driving equipment are as follows:

1. Rotary Drilling Capability of Pile Driver: It is required that the pile driver can provide certain torque and rotational risk to the drilling tools and maintain a certain drilling pressure.

2. Lifting Capability of Drilling Tools: Should have a certain lifting capacity and speed.

3. Well-Washing Capability of Pile Driver: Able to provide a certain pump pressure, use the drill rod to flush a certain amount of liquid at the bottom of the well, and carry the rock cuttings out of the well. Pile drivers should meet the needs of piling in different areas. Considering the mobility of drilling rigs, the equipment is required to be easy to install, dismantle, and transport.

Through these three aspects, you should be able to understand the corresponding process requirements of pile drivers, which will help us in our future work.
