Hydraulic pile drivers are commonly used equipment in highway and construction projects. They are not only convenient to operate, but also offer high piling precision, are durable, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly, making them particularly suitable for the installation, maintenance, and emergency repair of highway guardrails and other on-site engineering construction. So, what are the methods of using a hydraulic pile driver? Let's learn:
1. Check the mechanical system and hydraulic system. The diesel engine can be started only after checking that the water level in the radiator and the oil level are normal.
2. The chassis is driven by a hydraulic motor with stepless hydraulic speed control. Adjusting the diesel engine speed and fuel supply (manually controlled valve) can achieve different walking speeds. Push the combination valve handle forward to move the chassis forward, and then pull it back to reverse the chassis. Other operations like lifting the low-pressure arm cylinder, leveling the upper structure cylinder, pitching the column cylinder, and extending the boom elastic cylinder are all operated using the combination valve handle. Push the handle forward to extend the cylinder piston rod and pull it back to retract the piston.
3. After arriving at the site, check if the column is straight. If not, it can be adjusted through the pitch cylinder and lateral screws. The cables on both sides of the column should be secured. During piling displacement, the position of the column should be checked at all times.
4. Adjust the chassis longitudinally and the column laterally to calibrate the direction of the column.
5. Raise the hydraulic hammer onto the column, place the lower part of the steel pipe pile on the pile position, align the upper part with the pile head of the lower part of the hydraulic hammer, press down the steel pipe pile, and then start piling. Maintain pressure on the pile head to the steel pipe pile until the steel pipe pile is driven into the ground to the specified ratio.
6. Before the end of each shift, lower the hydraulic hammer to a low position, and retract other cylinders and piston rods to their lowest position.
If done periodically, the column should be tilted backward. The above is a detailed introduction to the use of hydraulic pile drivers, hoping it helps you.
