The reasons for the slip or twist of the piston in the hydraulic cylinder of the wave steel guardrail pile driver are as follows: First, seal quality. In the low-pressure environment of the O-ring, the higher the pressure on the sealing surface, the greater the dynamic friction resistance, leading to piston slip or expansion. The U-shaped seal ring performs slightly better than the O-ring, but the pressure is an increase in internal pressure. The elasticity of rubber directly affects the lip contact resistance of the seal ring, which can lead to longer lips or flipped seal rings. Support rings can prevent the seal from tilting. The piston slip or extrusion in the hydraulic cylinder is slow internally. Due to deformation and wear of internal parts of the hydraulic cylinder, incorrect installation position, or exceeding service life, this increases operational resistance, resulting in different piston speed and stroke direction of the hydraulic cylinder, leading to piston slip or expansion. The reason is the poor quality of parts, and scratches or sintered iron filings on the outer surface, making the resistance large and slow. Parts must be repaired or adjusted from scratch, damaged parts replaced, and timely cleaning and removal of steel. The reason for piston slip or expansion in the hydraulic cylinder is air in the hydraulic pump or cylinder. Compression or expansion of air can cause piston slip or expansion, so it is best to set the exhaust system for rapid operation throughout the stroke and vent air several times. The reason for piston slip or extrusion in the hydraulic cylinder is cylinder bore issues.


The piston of the cylinder and the cylinder, the guide rail, and the piston rod all move relative to each other. If the diameter of the cylinder is weak and not smooth, more wear will occur, and the linearity of the cylinder's centerline will decrease. At this time, the friction resistance is not fixed, which may cause piston slip or stagnation. First, you can grind the hydraulic cylinder, then manufacture the piston as needed, repair the piston rod, and install the guide sleeve.
