Recently, many customers have asked me a question: How should a guardrail pile driver be correctly placed after construction? Today, I have organized the following experiences to share with everyone:

Precautions for placing a guardrail pile driver:

1. Park it in a dry indoor area. If it must be parked outdoors, choose a flat ground and lay wooden boards, then cover it with a tarp after parking.

2. Before long-term storage, the machinery must be maintained and damaged parts repaired, then thoroughly cleaned to keep it in good technical condition.

3. Pay attention to the arrangement and layout of the parking area to ensure that the entry and exit of any machinery are not affected by other machines.

4. The fuel control lever of the machinery should be set to the idle position, and all control levers should be placed in neutral.

5. Maintenance of the guardrail pile driver engine.

a. Drain the cooling water from the engine.

b. Replace the engine oil, as new oil is usually neutral and will not corrode the metal parts of the engine.

c. Fill the fuel tank with diesel to prevent rust. If possible, also add a preservative.

d. During the shutdown period, the engine of the guardrail pile driver should be started once a month to make the machinery travel a short distance, establishing a new oil film at the lubrication points to prevent rust. Note: Fill with cooling water before starting and drain the cooling water after finishing.
