Pile drivers are an indispensable part of current construction projects, but some preparations are necessary before use. The goal is to assist in the better operation of the guardrail pile driver. Let's take a look at what preparations need to be made before operation:

1. Understand the construction conditions and tasks from the construction personnel, as well as problems found during construction and matters that need attention in the current shift.

2. There should be no high-voltage lines within the guardrail pile driver's working area. The work area should have clear signs or fencing, and non-working personnel should not enter. During the pile driving process, the operator needs to monitor from a distance of more than 5 meters from the center of the pile hammer.

3. Before operation, check all fastening bolts, with special attention to the guide plate's fixing bolts. Do not operate if there is any looseness or missing parts. Ensure that all working mechanisms of the lifting gear are safe and reliable, and the contact line between the starting hook and the upper piston is between 5~10mm.

4. Before operating a diesel hammer, the fuel tank should be filled up with fuel mixed at the specified ratio. Open the fuel valve and the air release plug to expel air from the fuel line. Check and test the fuel pump by observing the fuel injection from the cleaning hole: adjust if the opening is abnormal or when it is opened.

5. Before starting the pile hammer, ensure the pile hammer, pile cap, and pile are aligned on the same axis, and do not drive piles eccentrically.
