From September 9th to 12th local time, the 24th World Energy Congress was held in Abu Dhabi. The Dubai CSP Photovoltaic Hybrid Power Station is the all-star project of the exhibition area. The Noor Energy 1, a 950MW CSP Photovoltaic power generation project (Phase 4 of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park), is located in a desert 65 kilometers south of Dubai's city center. With a total investment of $4.4 billion and covering an area of 44 square kilometers, it is the largest solar thermal power station in the world to date. The project includes 1100MW molten salt tower + 3200MW parabolic trough, totaling 700MW of solar thermal installed capacity, and 250MW of photovoltaic installed capacity, with a total investment of 15.78 billion Dirhams (about 28.85739 billion RMB). The project owners are DEWA, ACWA Power, and China's Silk Road Fund, with Shanghai Electric as the EPC contractor. Once completed, the project will provide clean power to more than 270,000 households in Dubai and reduce carbon emissions by 1.4 million tons annually.
