Since entering the international market, Hengwang Group has accumulated contracts for engineering projects in multiple countries, covering sectors such as electricity, roads and bridges, water supply, airports, infrastructure, building construction, etc., making significant contributions to the economic and social development of the local areas. This time, the pile drivers produced by Shandong Hengwang Group have been deployed in the China Power Construction Qatar Al Kharsaa 800MW Photovoltaic Power Station project, further expanding Hengwang Group's market share in the Middle East and showcasing its brand influence in the Middle Eastern market.
The Qatar Al Kharsaa 800MW Photovoltaic Power Station project adopts the IPP model for bidding. The Marubeni + Total joint venture, as the developer, signed a power purchase agreement with the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) on January 19th. The project is divided into two phases, with the first 400MW expected to be completed and connected to the grid by April 1, 2021, and the entire project capacity to be connected by April 1, 2022. This project is currently the world's third-largest single-unit photovoltaic project, the largest using tracking brackets, and the largest using bifacial modules.
Dubai Solar Thermal Photovoltaic Hybrid Power Station
The fourth phase of the 950MW solar thermal photovoltaic power project (Noor Energy 1) in the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, located in the southern part of Dubai, 65 kilometers from the city center, with a total investment of 4.4 billion USD, covering an area of 44 square kilometers, is the largest solar thermal power station in the world so far.
Antarctic Scientific Research Station
In the construction project of the Brazilian Ferraz Antarctic Scientific Research Station, Hengwang drilling rig products, due to their outstanding performance and good performance under extreme conditions, successfully won the bid for the geological exploration project of the Ferraz Antarctic Research Station. This is the first time that Hengwang Group's independently developed water-vapor dual-use drilling rigs, air compressors, and other products have entered the polar regions, undergoing the "severe cold" test. This bid also once again demonstrated Hengwang Group's increasingly strong product strength.
Philippine National Grid Corporation
Hengwang Company's two major projects won in the Philippines are— the second phase of the Cebu Substation EPC General Contracting Project, and the Tuy-Dasmariñas 230 kV Substation EPC General Contracting Project, involving pile-driving equipment. "This bid marks a good start for the company's market development in Southeast Asia this year and signifies an important breakthrough in the development of the company's international business model.
Mongolian Solar Power Station
In April 2017, Shandong Hengwang Group reached a project cooperation with SolarTech LLC, an investor from Mongolia along the "Belt and Road" route. The project will build Mongolia's first 50MW solar photovoltaic power station. Mr. S, a Mongolian client, stated that Hengwang Group is a professional photovoltaic pile driver manufacturer with strong strength and mature experience. Mongolia has rich solar and wind energy resources, and this signing will improve the utilization rate of renewable energy, with a very broad market prospect.
Vietnam Phan Linh Photovoltaic Field
On January 1, 2019, Hengwang Group won the bid for the pile driver equipment for the Vietnam Phan Linh Photovoltaic Field Construction Project with more than 130 units. Hengwang Company undertook most of the pile driving engineering for photovoltaic and wind power projects in Vietnam. The project is located in the Binh Phuoc district of Phan Thiet province, 60 kilometers from the provincial capital Panzhi City and about 240 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City. The site is divided into east and west by a north-south road, covering an area of about 48 hectares, with a total installed capacity of 36.72 megawatts. This bid proves Hengwang Group's determination to explore overseas markets and enter the new energy industry under the influence and drive of the national "Belt and Road" initiative, kicking off the vigorous development of Hengwang Group in 2019!
