In this issue, we will introduce the commonly used pile types in China and the most common specifications:

1. Bored Cast-in-Place Piles:

Used in bridge construction, with a maximum diameter of 400mm and a maximum pile length of 150 meters.

2. Manually Excavated Piles:

Used in construction, with a maximum diameter of 4000mm and a maximum pile length of 53 meters.

3. Precast Reinforced Concrete Square Piles:

Used in the construction of buildings and bridges, with a maximum cross-section of 600×600 mm and a maximum pile length of 75 meters.

4. Steel Pipe Piles:

Used in construction and bridge construction, with a maximum diameter of φ1200mm and a maximum pile length of 83 meters.

5. Prestressed Concrete Pipe Piles:

Used in the construction of buildings and docks, with a maximum diameter of φ1200mm and a maximum pile length of 80 meters.

6. Prestressed Concrete Hollow Square Piles:

Used in dock construction, with a maximum cross-section of 600×600 mm and a maximum pile length of 60 meters.

7. Cast-in-Place Piles:

Used in construction, with a maximum diameter of φ700mm and a maximum pile length of 35 meters.

8. Soil Mixing Piles:

Used in oil tank construction, with a maximum diameter of 700mm and a maximum pile length of 30 meters.
