How can construction equipment such as pile drivers be used without disturbing the public?

The development of the economy has driven the rapid growth of the construction industry, especially in recent years. Urban and rural construction, highways, railways, power plants, and more, have all accelerated the development of pile driving machinery. The pile drivers produced by Shandong Hengwang Group are more refined in types and broader in application. When talking about construction, everyone first thinks about environmental pollution and interference, followed by the noise generated by machinery use, which results in a significant amount of construction waste during the building process. In line with the current theme of actively advocating for environmental protection, reducing environmental pollution and disturbances during construction has become a concern for many. On construction sites, it is necessary to minimize construction noise, reduce construction disturbances, minimize material loss, reduce on-site interference, respect the basic environment, combine construction with climate considerations, save resources (energy), and reduce environmental pollution through scientific management to ensure construction quality. Noise is one of the most severe and common problems in construction. Construction noise can be controlled by modifying or replacing construction machinery. During the pile driving process, the pile hammer itself and the action of driving the piles generate loud and harsh sounds, which should be avoided at night if possible, and cushioning materials should be placed on the pile top and pile cap to reduce noise. On the other hand, this can be achieved by changing the design or construction plan. For the noise caused by pile drivers, it can be mitigated by changing the type of pile driving document or using silent and drop files in consultation with the design unit. For large equipment used in earthwork projects, such as excavators, tractors, bulldozers, etc., due to the nature of the equipment itself, it is difficult to eliminate noise on their own.

During construction, engineering machinery should fully utilize low-noise equipment and reasonably adjust the working hours of high-noise equipment. Filings and small-scale construction blasting are limited to daylight hours only, and nighttime operations are strictly prohibited to prevent noise disturbances. At the same time, soundproof and vibration-proof walls (wooden boards) have been installed around the work area to reduce the impact on the surrounding area.
