Understanding the structure, principle, operation, and maintenance methods of pile drivers is essential. Before operation, an operation certificate must be held. The power device, winch, hydraulic device, electrical device, etc., configured for the pile driver, should be operated according to their operating procedures. Electrical faults of the pile driver must be handled by an electrician specialized in pile drivers, and testing, installation, dismantling, and handling must be strictly carried out in accordance with relevant regulations. Operations should be stopped in adverse weather conditions such as thunderstorms, rain and snow, heavy fog, or when wind speeds exceed force 6. When wind speeds exceed force 7 or when there is a strong typhoon warning, operations should cease in the windward direction of the pile driver. If necessary, the frame should lower the pile driver, and lightning protection measures must be taken. In case of lightning, personnel must stay away from pile driving before operations and must first run the machine empty. Only after confirming that all parts are functioning normally can operations proceed. When using a pile clamp, the pile should be tightly clamped before operation, and the pile clamp should not be loosened during operation. When operations stop, the vibration of the vibrating hammer must be stopped before loosening the pile clamp. When installing the vibrating hammer, it must be transported to the front of the pile frame within a range of 2mm. During movement, a dedicated person must give commands, and the rotation and alignment of the pile position must be done slowly, with continuous operation in the same direction not exceeding one week. It is strictly forbidden to simultaneously lift the vibrating hammer, materials, piles, move, or rotate. The elevator must not be overloaded. Under the following conditions, operators must not leave their post without authorization: 1) columns or braces fall off; 2) vibrating hammer motor fastening bolts are loose; guide devices are loose, there is an impact sound inside the vibrator, the bearing temperature rises too high, or the vibrating hammer is loosely connected to the pile or other devices by bolts.
Electrical or hydraulic device faults, if the vibration amplitude of the shock absorber beam is too large for a long time, the machine should be stopped to identify the cause. When driving piles, the verticality of the pile should be corrected in time. After the pile is 3 meters into the soil, it is strictly forbidden to use the pile driver to walk or turn to correct the verticality of the pile. For pile frame columns that cannot be adjusted left or right, left and right braces should be driven simultaneously when adjusting the forward and backward tilt of the column. At the end of each day's work, the pile tube should be sunk into the soil or the vibrating hammer placed on the ground, cut off the power supply to the pile driver, and engage all brakes. When the machine is stopped for a long time, the pile driver should be parked on solid, flat ground, the vibrating hammer must be lowered and cushioned, and rain protection measures should be taken when setting up and lowering the pile frame. Firstly, check whether the winch drum of the pile driver is reliable, then raise and lower according to the procedure specified in the operating manual. When traveling and pile driver type tracks are not in operation, they should be parked in the brake shoes or in the middle of the track, and the rail clamp must be tightened. When dismantling oil pipes, ensure that the pipe joints are not contaminated.
