Reasons for Pile Driver Shutdown

When we operate pile drivers, we may encounter shutdown issues. There are several factors that can cause a pile driver to shut down.

1. Insufficient oil supply. When a pile driver requires substantial force for construction, its speed needs to be controlled through timely oil refilling or reduction. This control is mainly achieved by adjusting the throttle valve's speed to control the pressure in the hydraulic system. If the throttle is increased but there's no improvement in the pile driver's work efficiency or the speed of the rack's movement, and the diesel engine cannot achieve the conversion effect under pressure maintenance conditions, the diesel engine will stop.

2. Improper adjustment of the diesel engine's fuel supply angle. The fuel supply angle works according to the motion pattern of the piston cylinder. If the fuel supply angle is not properly adjusted, it can also cause the machine to shut down. Additionally, if the idle speed is too low, slight movements of the pile driver can lead to shutdown.

3. Operator error leading to shutdown, such as insufficient fuel supply on slopes, braking too quickly, engaging gears during ignition, etc. Mastering the operation skills of the pile driver is very important. Operators should understand the equipment and operate it after training.

From the analysis above, it's evident that the driving skills of pile driver operators and the adequacy of the machine's maintenance work can affect the machine's usage and cause shutdown incidents.
