The sinking steps of pile drivers vary with their types. Today, the distance code introduces the driving steps for Pile Driver Type 1 rail. If the number of piles is small, they should be started from the center to the opposite ends, but when the pile foundation area is large, the pile foundation should be divided into several parts, and then each part is worked on separately.

1. If the pile spacing is greater than or equal to four times the pile diameter or side length, the impact of the piling order should be minimal. However, for area pile groups, the piling order should be planned in advance to prevent adverse consequences or safety accidents.

2. The foundation soil in the middle of the pile foundation should prevent squeezing from the outside to the inside, or from the periphery to the center, which increases the difficulty of driving. Even if piling too far away, the adjacent piles already driven may rise.

3. In loamy and clayey areas, one should prevent proceeding in one direction, causing the soil to be pushed to one side. This results in varying depths of piles, uneven soil compaction, and could cause the entire pile foundation to be uneven in the future.

4. Upon entering the construction site, the order of piling should be determined based on the terrain conditions, foundation soil conditions, pile positions, pile lengths, and the convenience of pile frame movement, ensuring that the piles enter the soil to basically the same depth and the foundation soil is compacted evenly.
