In the use of construction machinery, some minor faults are hard to avoid. For example, the foundation pile driver, an auxiliary machine used for high-frequency ground installation, is prone to faults. If the main attachments have issues, it can easily affect the operation of the entire machine. Therefore, operators must clearly understand the causes of faults and solve them promptly to restore normal operation. Now, I will introduce some common faults in hydraulic cylinder foundation pile drivers:
1. Hydraulic Cylinder Contraction: This causes the piston to slide or drag. Improper installation methods or incorrect placement of the internal parts of the hydraulic cylinder foundation pile driver can easily lead to deformation, wear, and misalignment of parts. As the resistance continues to increase, the piston's speed becomes uneven in the direction of the stroke, causing the piston to slide or drag. The main reason is the gradual decline in the quality of components, plus some scars or iron filings on the outer surface, which increases resistance and reduces speed. To solve this problem, you must start from scratch with repairs or adjustments, replace damaged parts, and promptly clear any iron filings.
2. Hammer Head Bolt Damage: The working environment of foundation pile drivers is poor and conditions are relatively harsh. Parts wear out very quickly, and the screws damage the key. Additionally, during the operation of the hammer, a powerful vibration force is generated, and the entire protective bolt and hammer bolt are released, which may cause fatigue fracture damage.
3. Insufficient Power in Gear Pump: The foundation pile driver's gear pump may not work due to discrepancies between the input and output ports, resulting in a smaller inlet and a larger outlet. After the gear pump compresses the hydraulic oil, there is no pressure support. Additionally, the oil seal in the gear pump may be damaged. Prolonged use can lead to aging and leakage of the oil seal, causing insufficient pressure.
Understanding and addressing these common faults can significantly enhance the reliability and efficiency of foundation pile driving operations.
