Shandong Hengwang Group Explains the Construction Principle of Pile Drivers to You

Pile drivers consist of a pile hammer, a pile frame, and auxiliary equipment. The pile hammer is connected between two parallel vertical guide rods (commonly known as a gantry) at the front of the pile frame and is lifted by a hook. The frame of the pile is a steel structure tower, and a hoist is arranged at its rear to lift the pile and hammer. A guiding frame made of two guide rods is used in front of the battery frame to control the conduction direction of the battery, thereby accurately penetrating the ground according to the design direction. The basic technical parameters of the pile driver are the weight of impact, the kinetic energy of impact, and the frequency of impact. Pile hammers can be divided into drop hammers, steam hammers, diesel hammers, hydraulic hammers, etc., based on the source of motion energy. Many people are not very familiar with pile drivers, especially their working principle, so today, Broad is here to explain the principle of the pile driver.

The vibrating battery impeller uses its high-frequency vibration to make the battery body vibrate at high speed, transmitting the machine-generated vertical vibration to the battery body, thereby changing the soil structure around the battery body. Due to the vibration, the resistance decreases, and the ground around the battery is liquefied. This reduces the friction resistance between the battery body and the floor, and then sinks it into the ground through the vibration of the battery and the weight of the battery body. When the battery is removed under high-frequency vibration, the battery body is lifted. It sinks very slowly.

Therefore, we can use the boom to sink under pressure or raise the battery about 0.5-1.1 meters, and then quickly drop rapidly. The excitation force required by the machine must be determined based on the soil layer, the quality in the soil, water content, and the type and structure of the pile as a whole. Usually, the 100-400KN vibration method is used to sink the pile. The efficiency is mainly applicable to U-shaped steel sheet piles, I-shaped steel sheet piles, Larson piles, steel pipe piles, and precast concrete piles within 10M. This pile driving method is most suitable for sandy operations, with poor effects in clay operations. At this time, use our company's most powerful model if necessary. The method of vibrating handling piles is to hang piles: __ Lower the battery impeller, allowing it to slowly sink to a certain depth into the ground (install a battery cover if necessary). Check the position of the battery and shaft to vibrate the battery at the design depth, then move the battery controller to the next battery to continue operation.

Clay layer:

For clay layers, the vibrating effect destroys the original soil structure, changes the soil density, and reduces the cohesion. With increased sensitivity, the resistance around the pile will increase. It is necessary to use two-stage acceleration. Or choose our largest model.

Sandy layer:

Due to the vibration of the sandy layer, the bindings between soil particles are destroyed, and liquefaction leads to reduced resistance of the soil around the pile body and the pile body itself, facilitating the sinking of the pile. However, for dense sandy layers and relatively loose fine sand layers, it will weaken the vibration effect. At this time, a different vibration output must be selected.
