What Causes the Cylinder Discoloration in Anhui Foundation Pile Drivers?

After using a pile driver for some time, you may notice that the color of the hydraulic cylinder changes. Initially blue, the color deepens to purple over time and may eventually turn black. In fact, the surface of the hydraulic cylinder is covered with a colored thin film, which is unrelated to the pile driver and the cylinder itself. You can use it with confidence. However, the discoloration has its reasons. Below are the reasons for the discoloration of the cylinder: 

1. The hydraulic system of the pile driver experiences high temperatures, especially in winter. During operation, the piston rod will be in a high-temperature state and frequently come into contact with the cold external environment;

2. Everyone develops the habit of routine maintenance, but if hydraulic oil not specific to pile drivers is replaced, it may discolor within a few days because the quality and performance of extreme pressure anti-wear additives vary among different brands and types of hydraulic oil;

3. We can roughly analyze the reasons based on the changes in different colors. The reason for the change is that the additives in the oil seal and hydraulic oil adhere to the cylinder rod at high temperatures; the reason for the black change is that the spray inside the wear-resistant sleeve contains lead additives that adhere to the cylinder rod at high temperatures.
