What are the classifications of pile drivers? How can they be better distinguished?

1. Spiral Pile Driver:

A spiral pile driver is a pile driving equipment that drills into the ground through a power head driving the drill rod and drill bit. It can be divided into two parts: the pile frame and the drilling part.

2. Diesel Hammer Pile Driver:

A diesel hammer pile driver uses the repetitive bouncing impact force of a diesel hammer and the self-weight of the pile to overcome the side friction resistance of the pile body and the resistance of the soil layer at the pile end, sinking the pile to the designed elevation.

3. Reverse Circulation Drilling Rig:

A reverse circulation drilling rig uses a mud pump to extract mud carrying rock slag from the bottom of the hole.

4. Impact Drill Rig:

An impact drill rig is a machine that uses the impact force of a drill bit to chisel and drill holes in rock layers.

5. Vibroflot:

A vibroflot is a soft foundation treatment equipment that drives plastic drainage boards into the foundation with the vibratory force of a vibrating hammer.

6. Tamping Expansion Pile Driver:

A tamping expansion pile driver uses a hammer head to drive the casing to the elevation, then fills it with gravel, bricks, etc. It has a columnar tamping hammer inside, which is lifted by a winch, and after it automatically unhooks, the tamping hammer compacts the fill to the designed elevation, followed by concrete pouring as the casing is gradually extracted, finally inserting the steel reinforcement cage into the concrete.

7. Stone Column Machine:

A vibrating casing stone column machine hangs a vibrating hammer on the pile frame, starts with an electric motor, and uses the vibratory force of the vibrating hammer to drive the casing into the soil. After reaching the elevation, it starts pouring concrete (the casing has a feeding port, lifted by the pile driver's winch) while vibrating and extracting the casing to densify the concrete up to the elevation.

8. Rotary Drilling Rig:

A rotary drilling rig is a construction machinery suitable for boring operations in foundation engineering, mainly used in sandy soil, clay, silty soil, and other soil layers, widely applied in cast-in-place piles, continuous walls, foundation reinforcement, and various other foundation construction projects.

9. Vibratory Pile Hammer:

A vibratory pile hammer is a device that generates strong vibratory force upon electrification to drive objects into the ground, used for foundation engineering.

10. Down-The-Hole Drill Rig:

The essence of down-the-hole rock drilling is to submerge the impactor into the hole during the rock drilling process, reducing the energy loss caused by the transmission of impact energy through the drill rod, thereby minimizing the impact of hole depth on drilling efficiency.

11. Horizontal Directional Drill:

A horizontal directional drill is a construction machine for laying a variety of underground utilities (pipes, cables, etc.) without excavating the surface, widely used in water supply, electricity, telecommunications, natural gas, gas, petroleum, and other pipeline laying construction, suitable for sand, clay, pebbles, and other ground conditions.
