1. Pre-operation Check for Hydraulic Pumps
2. Check if the hydraulic pump is accurately and reliably installed, screws are tightened, and the coupler installation meets the requirements.
3. Ensure the pump body is filled with fluid.
4. Verify that the pump's rotation direction corresponds with the inlet and outlet ports.
5. Adjust the hydraulic system's safety valve to the specified pressure value.
6. Precautions During Hydraulic Pump Operation
7. Avoid abrupt full-speed starts when turning on. Instead, jog the prime mover switch several times under a no-load condition to eliminate air from the pipes as much as possible. After running no-load for 1-2 minutes without any abnormalities, gradually apply load. During the loading process, there should be no abnormal vibrations, noise, or leaks; otherwise, immediately stop the pump for inspection, analysis, and troubleshooting.
8. Maintenance After Hydraulic Pump Operation
9. If the pump will not be used for an extended period, drain the fluid from the pump and refill it with oil that has a low acid value. Coat exposed machined surfaces with rust-preventive oil, and seal all oil ports with screw plugs to prevent contamination from entering.
