How to solve gear pump faults in truck-mounted guardrail pile drivers:
Gear pump connecting shaft cracking: This situation can be due to material issues with the gear pump. Although manufacturers have fixed suppliers for purchasing gear pumps, it's possible for suppliers to have some issues in certain batches. The second reason could be improper operation, such as unauthorized operation or prolonged pressure buildup, leading to the gear pump being used under excessive load.
Hydraulic oil in the guardrail pile driver is not cleaned or is expired for a long time: The function of the gear pump is to compress the hydraulic oil, generating pressure, and then operate the hydraulic components. The primary structure inside the gear pump consists of two gears, one driving gear and the other driven gear. The meshing and rolling of these two gears can compress the hydraulic oil. However, if the hydraulic oil is dirty and contains impurities, it can easily damage these two gears, and even seriously affect the operation of the entire gear pump.
Weak operation of the guardrail pile driver's gear pump: This situation might be due to the inlet and outlet being installed reversely, with a small inlet and a large outlet, resulting in the gear pump compressing the hydraulic oil but not generating pressure. Another reason could be internal oil seal damage; prolonged use leads to aging of the oil seal, causing internal leakage and resulting in insufficient pressure.
