Reasons for the Slowing Down of Mechanical Locking Rod Rotary Drilling Rigs After Long-Term Use

After prolonged use, the speed of a mechanical locking rod rotary drilling rig may slow down. Is there a way to solve this problem? The same goes for rotary drilling rigs. Although cleaning them is not as easy as cleaning a smartphone, understanding the causes of this issue and addressing it promptly is possible.

High hydraulic oil temperature: When the temperature exceeds 70 degrees Celsius, the anti-wear capability of the hydraulic oil significantly decreases, causing severe wear on the machinery.

Usage time exceeds 1500 hours: As the oil flows, it carries many small air bubbles. The interaction between air and hydraulic oil leads to oxidation, increasing the acidity of the hydraulic oil, further corroding metal, and clogging the filter. In such cases, it's important to replace the filter promptly.

The difference in temperature between day and night during the machine's operation causes a large amount of water vapor to form in the oil tank. When the temperature drops, water droplets form, placing the machine's metal in a damp environment, which further corrodes the machine.
