What factors cause a guardrail piling machine to overheat?

What to do if a piling machine overheats abnormally: We are all familiar with piling machines, which have greatly facilitated the work of outdoor workers, improved their work efficiency, and shortened the work time. However, after long periods of operation, the piling hammer tends to overheat easily, which can cause damage to other components.

Sometimes, abnormal heating can occur shortly after starting work, so it is necessary to have corresponding solutions. Let me explain. Set the fuel pump of the piling machine to neutral, raise the upper piston, and operate it without load a few times until the penetration depth of the pile is within the normal range to stop, so the pile hammer can start normally.

Do not use summer diesel in winter, as this will cause the wax in the diesel to precipitate and clog the fuel line, which is important to remember, and never use gasoline as a substitute for diesel. Disconnect the fuel line from the piling machine's fuel pump, drain the remaining water until diesel starts to flow out, then vent the fuel pump and set it to neutral.

Remove the screw that secures the cylinder, raise the landing gear and the upper piston, operate it without load a few times to drain the water inside the cylinder, then reinstall and secure the screw. In addition to operating the piling machine correctly as per the instructions, it is also important to pay attention to daily maintenance. Even if overheating issues occur, following the above-mentioned troubleshooting methods should effectively address the problem.
