After using a crawler foundation pile driver for a while, operators may noticeably feel that the piling capability is not as good as it was at the beginning. This is a common issue during construction. As the hydraulic pile driver is used over time, it inevitably encounters some faults. Here, we will analyze the reasons for the weakened foundation piling strength.

1. During the construction process of the pile driver, if there is a large external load, the engine speed drops sharply;

1.1  Regularly check the engine power;

1.2 Check whether the hydraulic displacement changes with the constant power output;

It is suggested to adjust the swash plate angle of the foundation pile driver, to reduce the hydraulic displacement, provided it does not affect the speed.

2. If the external load on the pile driver is high and the engine does not decelerate, then adjust the pressure;

Different manufacturers use different hydraulic components and systems in their foundation pile drivers, and the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder is naturally different. Adjustments must be made according to the manufacturer's requirements. If the pressure of the relief valve cannot be adjusted, check the condition of the safety valve, the adjustment system of the hydraulic pump, and components like the hydraulic pump's cylinder body.
