Engine Failure to Start Troubleshooting
Analysis of troubleshooting steps:
1. Check if the battery voltage is normal. Measuring the voltage value is 24V, which is normal, move to the next step;
2. Check the fuel pipe switch, find it is closed, leading to the inability of the exhaust pipe to vent.
Troubleshooting method: Confirm the fuel pipe switch is properly opened; then restart the engine, find the engine still starts abnormally. Continue troubleshooting;
3. Check the fuel pipe for leaks or blockages, after troubleshooting, no abnormalities, move to the next step;
4. Check the fuel tank or filter for blockage issues, test the oil pressure, and after replacing the fuel filter, the engine can start normally. The troubleshooting process ends.
Reflection: For each potential cause of the fault, list them from simple to difficult and check them one by one from top to bottom to confirm if there are any abnormalities. Checking the battery voltage of 24V showed no abnormalities. After finding and addressing the issue with the fuel pipe, the engine still could not start. Continue to check the fuel tank. After replacing the fuel filter, the engine can start normally, so the cause of the fault is the closure of the fuel pipe and the blockage of the filter.
In addition to the above troubleshooting points, there may also be faults with the starter and main pump. If the problem cannot be resolved after the above steps, further checks are needed. If it cannot be resolved, a service engineer should be called for testing and troubleshooting.
