High temperatures can significantly harm the actual operation of drilling rigs, especially those operated with gear oil. High temperatures can lead to common faults in such drilling rigs. Incorrect handling of these issues can damage components like the gasoline pump, motor, and other parts of the hydraulic system, thereby affecting construction efficiency. Therefore, it's essential to understand common issues in operating anchoring drilling rigs in summer.

In the reinforcement of anchor bar structures, frequent moving of the drilling position is required. Traditional anchor bar drilling rigs are too heavy for easy movement, whereas crawler anchoring drilling rigs can move on the road surface more easily and quickly, thus saving a lot of costs.

Firstly, it's crucial for the slope anchoring drilling rig to be filled with gear oil before each use. The gear oil in the fuel tank should always be full and never insufficient. If the remaining oil is too low, the hydraulic transmission system can overheat, adversely affecting the hydraulic cylinder, gasoline pump, and motor. In summer, 68-grade oil is recommended for hydraulic machines. It is advisable to choose higher-quality gear oil to extend the lifespan of the hydraulic system.

Secondly, pay attention to heat dissipation. Most anchor bar drilling rigs are equipped with fans. These fans cool the gear oil in the control circuit quickly before returning it to the fuel tank. Therefore, in summer, it's important to ensure that the air-cooled radiator is functioning properly. If it fails, it cannot cool the water temperature, leading to severe consequences.

Finally, high temperatures greatly increase the consumption of oil and lubricant in the transmission (gearbox). In hot weather, lubricant can leak from the joint of the casing. If the lubricant is lost excessively, it must be replenished before use. This not only ensures lubrication between the transmission gears but also extends the life of the power head.
