How to Start a Hydraulic Pile Hammer Before Construction with a Guardrail Piling Machine

1. The piling machine consists of a pile hammer, pile frame, and auxiliary equipment. In addition to diesel piling machines, pile hammers can be divided into drop hammers, steam hammers, diesel hammers, and hydraulic hammers based on their power sources.

2. The pile hammer of the piling machine is attached between two parallel vertical guide rods (commonly known as "gantry") at the front of the pile frame and is lifted by a hoisting hook. The pile frame is a steel structure tower, with a winch at the back to lift the piles and pile hammer. There is a guide frame at the front, made of two guide rods, to control the direction of piling and ensure the piles penetrate the ground accurately as per the design.

3. When starting the vibrating pile hammer, monitor the starting current and voltage. The starting time should not exceed 10 seconds. If starting is difficult, identify and rectify the issue before continuing. After starting, wait until the current drops to a normal value before switching to the operating position.

4. Before operation, check the tightness of the shock absorber and connecting bolts of the vibrating pile hammer. Do not start if the bolts are loose or missing. Check the tightness of each transmission belt and adjust if they are too loose or too tight.
