Components of a Screw Pile Driver

Walking MechanismThe walking mechanism is a hydraulic walking type. When moving forward, four support leg hydraulic cylinders lift the base off the ground through the hydraulic system, driving the walking cylinder to move the pile driver boots forward. Then, the legs retract and lower, pulling the chassis forward through the contraction of the hydraulic cylinders, thus achieving the forward movement of the pile driver through repeated operations.

Rotary MechanismThe rotary mechanism is driven by a medium-speed hydraulic motor through a reducer, allowing the pile driver to rotate 360 degrees with the coordination of the four support leg hydraulic cylinders. Due to the hydraulic motor's characteristics of stable power, stable operation, small rotational inertia, and high starting efficiency, the pile driver benefits from stable rotation, no impact or vibration, good overall stability, and long service life.

Power Mechanism The power head adopts a three-ring reduction mechanism, a relatively mature product. The large center hole reducer has strong overload capacity, compact structure, low noise, and long life, making it an ideal power device for drilling rigs in China. It consists of two air-cooled motors, a reducer, an elbow, an exhaust device, a lifting frame, and sliding speed. During operation, the two motors drive the reducer to rotate at high speed through a coupling, and the power low-speed shaft drives the drill rod and drill bit to rotate via a flange.

Hydraulic Transmission MechanismThis mechanism mainly consists of seven hydraulic cylinders, including four leg cylinders, one walking cylinder, and two amplitude cylinders. The leg cylinders are distributed at the four corners of the machine, achieving a body lifting height of 1.1m or 1.6m depending on the pile driver model. The walking cylinder is located in the middle of the machine chassis and works with the four leg cylinders to lift and move the entire machine forward. The walking cylinder is 1.6m long, providing a walking step length of 1.6m. The amplitude cylinders are located at the front of the middle plate and behind the column, mainly supporting the column. The contraction of the seven cylinders can be operated in the control room.

Operating Mechanism The control room is located in front of the main crane at the rear of the drilling rig. It has an iron shell structure with three windows to ensure a wide field of view, safety, and comfort. The drilling rig is controlled by an electro-hydraulic combination. All control buttons and handles are placed on the control panel in front of the control room, making the operation convenient and fast.
