After using a crawler foundation pile driver for a period, operators will noticeably feel that its piling capability is not as good as at the beginning, which is a common issue during construction. As the hydraulic pile driver is used over time, some faults will inevitably occur. Here, we will analyze the reasons for the weakening of the foundation pile driving.

I. During the pile driver's construction process, if there is a high external load, the engine speed will drop sharply;

1. Regularly check the engine power;

2. Check if the hydraulic displacement changes with the constant power output;

It is recommended to adjust the swash plate angle of the foundation pile driver, under the premise of not affecting speed, to reduce hydraulic displacement.

II. If there is a high external load on the pile driver, and if the engine does not slow down, then the pressure needs to be adjusted;

Different manufacturers' foundation pile drivers use different hydraulic components and systems, and the pressure of hydraulic cylinders naturally varies. Adjustments must be made according to the manufacturer's requirements; if the pressure of the relief valve cannot be adjusted, check the condition of the safety valve, the adjustment system of the hydraulic pump, and components such as the hydraulic pump cylinder.
