On February 27, 2024, Hanon, the Deputy Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises Development of Indonesia, led a delegation to visit Shandong Hengwang Group with the aim of strengthening cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the two countries and exploring new opportunities. The department is responsible for supporting and developing Indonesian SMEs and cooperatives through training, technical support, and other measures to enhance their market competitiveness, while also formulating policies to promote sustainable development.

During their visit, Liu Xiaowei, the General Manager of Shandong Hengwang Group, and Liu Fangtao, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Business, warmly hosted the delegation. Hanon and his team visited the Hengwang Group's product showroom, as well as the excavator and bulldozer production workshops, with a particular focus on the manufacturing processes of crawler excavators and bulldozers. The Indonesian delegation highly recognized the manufacturing capabilities and technological innovation of Hengwang Group through on-site observations of their advanced production lines and technical levels.

After the visit, both parties held a discussion meeting in the conference room of Hengwang Group. Deputy Minister Hanon and members of his delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with the management of Hengwang Group on topics such as SME development strategies, market expansion, technical exchanges, and future cooperation opportunities. During the meeting, both sides reached a broad consensus on strengthening cooperation and jointly promoting the development of SME cooperation between China and Indonesia.
