After using a crawler foundation pile driver for some time, operators may noticeably feel a decrease in its piling capacity compared to when it was new. This is a common issue encountered during construction. With the prolonged use of hydraulic pile drivers, inevitable faults can occur. Here, we will analyze the reasons for weakened foundation piling capability.
1. During the construction of the pile driver, there is a large external load, causing a sharp decline in engine speed:
Regularly check engine power;
Check whether the hydraulic displacement changes with constant power output;
It is recommended to adjust the angle of the pile driver's swash plate to reduce hydraulic displacement without affecting speed.
2. If there is a large external load on the pile driver and the engine does not slow down, pressure adjustment is necessary:
Different manufacturers' foundation pile drivers use different hydraulic components and systems, resulting in different pressures in the hydraulic cylinders. Adjustments must be made according to the manufacturer's requirements;
If the pressure of the relief valve cannot be adjusted, check the status of the safety valve and inspect the adjustment system and the cylinder of the hydraulic pump.
