Pile Driver

How should a highway guardrail piling machine be properly broken in?

A new machine, because its parts have just been put into use and are rough on the surface, doesn't operate smoothly among its components during operation. The metal debris from friction further causes wear at the junctions. Therefore, parts during the break-in period are very prone to wear and tear. Running at full power for a long time during this stage can easily lead to damage of parts and cause faults in the new machine. Many construction teams experience frequent breakdowns with newly purchased pile drivers due to long-term, full-load operation during the break-in period. For a newly purchased highway guardrail piling machine, it is crucial not to operate at full power or even overload. It is best to maintain a workload of about 60% of normal use to avoid overheating caused by continuous operation. Additionally, it is essential to check the dashboard, the levels of various fluids, and the tightness of all systems before starting work each day, and to lubricate parts that need it with grease or oil. The break-in period is crucial for a highway guardrail piling machine. If parts are significantly damaged during this period, the rate of faults later on will increase substantially. Conversely, a good break-in period can reduce many unnecessary troubles in future construction work.
